Packing Tips for Safe Delivery
Choose the Right Box
Box should be slightly larger than item. Fill empty space with padding. Reused Amazon boxes work great!
Wrap Fragile Items
Bubble wrap for fragile items. Newspaper, old clothes, or air pillows for padding. Double-box very fragile items.
Seal It Securely
Use strong packing tape. Tape all seams and edges. The "H" pattern is strongest: across top, bottom, and down the middle.
Label Clearly
We provide the shipping label - just print and stick it on. Cover any old labels or barcodes. One label per package.
Take Photos
Before sealing, take photos of the packed item. This protects both you and your trade partner if issues arise.
Track Your Package
We email you tracking info automatically. Both parties can see real-time updates in the app.
Shipping FAQs
Do I need a printer?
Nope! Most UPS and FedEx locations can print your label from a QR code. Just show your phone. USPS also accepts QR codes at most locations.
What if I don't have a box?
UPS Stores and FedEx Office sell boxes (usually $2-5). Staples has a huge selection. Or grab free boxes from grocery stores, liquor stores, or friends!
Can I schedule a pickup?
Yes! USPS offers free home pickup when you schedule online. UPS and FedEx charge $4-6 for home pickup. Premium members get pickup discounts.
How long does shipping take?
Typically 3-5 business days for ground shipping. Express options available for faster delivery (2-day or overnight) at additional cost.
Is shipping insured?
Yes! All shipments include up to $100 insurance automatically. You can add more insurance for high-value items (usually $1 per $100 of value).
What if my package is lost or damaged?
We'll file a claim with the carrier. If approved, you get the insured value. If denied, we reverse the trade and return items to original owners.
